“El Perro sin Pelo del Perú (Perumanta Q’ala Allqu) will be presented at the Site Museum of Pachacamac on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11 A.M.
This presentation will be an excellent opportunity to remember the moments of the making of this film.
Tupac, Peruvian Hairless Dog, and Dog of the site museum, is one of the main characters of the film – he represents the Peruvian millennial Dog. In addition, the film has testimonies of Isabel Cornejo (Archaeologist of the museum) about the dedication that the museum has devoted to the presence of dogs in our cultures.
The screening will be followed by a round table.
Speakers:
Pedro-Santiago Allemant (director of the film),
Jaime Deza Rivasplata (Doctor of Archeology and Anthropology and Research Director of Alas Peruanas University) and
Gloria Cáceres (Teacher, writer and translator of Quechua language).
The presentation will be animated with music by the Ayacucho composer, Chano Díaz Limaco, one of the film’s soundtrack composers.
Members of the film team: Carlos Andaluz (Chief camera operator) and some of the film characters will also be present.
A toast will be offered in honor of the Peruvian Hairless Dog and the production of this film at the Pachacamac Site Museum.
